Rack Focus Video School Testimonials
"I wanted to thank you again
for taking time out of your schedule, and the awesome school you put on. I
think it's great that you are helping others get into this field. I think I came in with the least amount of camera run time out
of the group, I feel a 100% more confident in my abilities as a cameraman now."
Thanks, TJ Brubaker, Indiana - 2007 Spring Graduate
"I personally have been to two of the classes in which I have learned a great
deal & enjoyed tremendously. I have received both my Level I & II
Outdoors Video Certification through these classes. I guess the biggest
accomplishment that came from the classes and my determination is that I have
started my own Video Production Company, Scout Pro Productions LLC. Since then I have been
very busy with weddings, promotions, events, commercials, etc. My company has
"planted" a solid foot-hold here in New
Orleans and the future is bright. I
am recently contracted to shoot both a promotional video & commercial for a
leading Louisiana Hunting Outfitter this season and am very excited about
that."
Thanks for everything, Scott Owens, Louisiana - 2005 Level I and Level II Graduate

"With my experience level coming in, what I really liked about the class is that Rack Focus caters to the beginner as well as to people like me with a little more experience. I think everybody got what they wanted out of the class."
Thanks, Matt Rogowski, PA - 2007 Level II Graduate
"I took the class because I was interested in what different types of opportunities there are in the Outdoors. I watch a lot of the Outdoor Television on various networks and was very interested in how the camera operation works and the whole idea of filming in the outdoors while producing a show. I think RF really helped me understand that aspect of Outdoor TV Production."
Autumn Swearingen, Illinois - 2007 Level II Graduate
"There was great communication between the instructors and the students. It was a small enough group that the hands-on experience was great. We could ask any question and they were able to answer it for us. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn from the basic camera operation to extensive in-field audio, it was just a great class."
Greg Littrell, Missouri - 2007 Level II Graduate
"My experience with the
Jack Pine School of Outdoor Production was excellent.
After attending I feel much more confident in my outdoor
filming skills. With the small class size and the hands
on experience, I was able to learn a lot more in two
days than I had anticipated. The guest speakers were
full of great information, each explaining things in
their own way. The instructors were very knowledgeable
and willing to explain in detail anything we wanted
to learn about. The wonderful outdoor setting topped
it all off and I would recommend this class to anyone
interested in outdoor videography."
-Preson Bovee, Michigan - 2004 Graduate
“I enjoyed the entire class,
but there were a few things that really stuck out. One
was just being able to discuss different topics and
get different opinions from guys who enjoy the same
things. The hands-on experience was extremely helpful
in learning the basics in operating the XL-1. Also I
enjoyed listening to the guest speakers, again hearing
other people’s opinions and sharing ideas. I also
thought it was great after we did the "real hunting
scenario" getting critiqued by the instructors.
It gave me new ideas and things to try as well as things
I need to work on. Thanks again for everything, hope
to hear from you soon about Class II!”
