Session Cost

The cost for the Rack Focus "Field Producer" Sessions, which includes all meals during session hours, a Rack Focus Video School hat, decal, shirt, course pack and a certificate of accomplishment is $950.00. A deposit of $475.00 is required when you register and the final payment is due one week prior to the Rack Focus Sessions. Once registered, each student will be mailed an registration form for more in-depth information and a questionnaire. A $25 fee is charged for returned checks.

Refund Policy

With the number of students in our school kept to a minimum, we expect your attendance once you have enrolled. Notify us by phone if you are unable to attend and we will get you a refund based on the policies below.

Withdraw more than 30 days prior to the first day of class and we will refund all money paid.

Withdraw less than 30 days before our first day of class and we will refund all money paid, less $250.00 of your $475.00 deposit.

If you don't arrive for the sessions, you will not receive a refund.

If we have a canceled RF Session for any reason, you will receive a full refund, but will not reimburse penalties for airline tickets.

Liability

In the event that we cancel a seminar, for any reason, the extent of Rack Focus Post liability is limited to the return of all fees paid. In all cases, we will do everything we can to make it possible for you to enroll in the next available class.

MI Arrival

The Rack Focus "Field Producer" Sessions will start promptly at 9 am on Friday. We will have an hour to meet and greet and register before the core Workshop begins at 10 am in the Rack Focus Post Studio in Midland, MI. When registered, you will receive your complete packet with all essential information for the weekend.

Times for School Sessions:

Friday: 9am-7pm- Studio Workshop (9am-3pm) Field Production (4pm-7pm)
Saturday: 9am-7pm- Clare, MI Field Production Day (9am-5pm)
Sunday: 9am-1pm- Studio Workshop, Final Exam, Awards, Wrap-up

What To Bring

• Bring a notebook, pen and backpack/bag for carrying in the field
• Your camera and all of your audio/tripod gear.
• Still camera for any group/session pictures
• A list of detailed items and information you wish to gain from the Sessions.
  
• An analysis of where you are as a videographer to this point and where you want to be.
• What your goals are as a cameraman over the next few years

Lodging and Transportation

The RF Sessions home base will take place about four miles outside of the Midland, MI city limits at the Rack Focus Post Studio. You can fly into MBS Airport, which is about 10 miles from Midland. You can also fly into Flint Bishop Airport, which is about 1 hour from Midland. In both cases you can rent a vehicle easily.

There is an abundance of lodging in Midland with a variety of pricing. A few I would recommend would be The Hampton Inn, Fairview Inn, The Sleep Inn and the Holiday Inn. All are located in the same general area and only about five-six miles from the RF Studio.
